Bread and Cookies

My wonderful hubby got me a new mixer recently and I am so excited that I can now start to make my GF (gluten-free) breads, cookies and other things.  I truly have been frustrated and aggravated by the lack of options available but perhaps it is because this is still new to me and I am easily frustrated by my brain’s inability to steer away from foods that are no longer an option for me.  BTW my last mixer died, not because the motor stopped or anything…nnnnnooooo.  I actually broke the beater in a really think dough I was mixing – the poor thing was wobbling on it’s tip like a washer on spin cycle.  Despite my lust for a beautiful, professional Kitchenaid mixer (cuz nothing beats a kitchenaid! my fave colors are dark pewter, licorice or meringue) I really like this new Oster mixer and I see potential in its shiny surface.  I will detail all experiments this weekend…..
